DIY 'Glitter Critter' Ornaments

Every December, my daughter and I make Christmas ornaments for her to gift to our family. She loves making them and is always so excited to give them out as gifts. It's also really special to see them on the tree year over year and remember our little projects.

This year we are starting with some DIY glitter critters!

Below are some ideas of what we used. We have some other dinosaurs, cars and Duplo lego people that we'll make in a few days too. You can experiment with any old toys you have around. You may be surprised what turns out the most beautiful and unique.

I hot glued string onto some old plastic animals and characters in advance. She then brushed on Elmer's glue and sprinkled with lots and lots of glitter. Then we let them dry overnight and they turned out so gorgeous!!
